Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. Who we are

These terms are a contract between you and Passr ("Passr", "we", "us"), the operator of the Passr platform for driving instructors and their students (the "Service").

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You must be of legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.

3. The Service

Passr provides tools for driving instructors to manage students, lessons, scheduling, notes and payments, and for students to book and pay for lessons with their instructor. Features available to you depend on your plan and role.

4. Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently or to send spam.
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering or circumventing technical limits).
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in line with your plan. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

7. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe on behalf of Passr. By subscribing you authorise us, via Stripe, to charge the payment method you provide for the applicable subscription fees and any taxes. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription in your instructor dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the Service running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will provide a reasonable window to export your data where feasible before deletion.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Passr against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
