Built for UK driving instructors

Driving instructor software and diary app

Passr is one place for your lesson diary, pupil bookings, availability and payments. Share your instructor code, let pupils book the slots you allow, and get paid by card or cash — from your phone.

No card required. £20/month or £200/year after the trial.

What the software does

Online lesson diary

A month view and day agenda built for a driving diary — lesson times, durations and pickup addresses in one place.

Pupils book themselves

Share your instructor code or booking link. Pupils pick from the slots you allow; you accept or decline in a tap.

Card or cash payments

Take card payments at booking through Stripe, or keep it cash and mark it off. Every lesson shows how it was paid.

Availability and time off

Set working hours, lesson lengths and travel time between lessons. Block a morning or a full week off in seconds.

Earnings and records

Weekly earnings, lesson history and a CSV export by UK tax year for your accounts.

Works on your phone

No app store download. Add Passr to your home screen and stay signed in between lessons.

Moving off a paper diary and WhatsApp

Most ADIs run their week across a planner, a phone and a notes app. Passr keeps the same routine but does the admin for you.

  • Your diary stops living in WhatsApp and a paper planner
  • No more back-and-forth messages to agree a time
  • No double bookings or forgotten reschedules
  • Pupils get instant confirmations and reminders by email
  • You can see what you're owed without adding it up yourself

Getting set up takes about ten minutes

  1. 1. Set your hours. Working days, lesson lengths and travel time between pupils.
  2. 2. Share your code. Send your booking link or instructor code to your pupils.
  3. 3. Take bookings. Accept requests, take card or cash, and watch the diary fill.

Driving instructor software FAQs

What is driving instructor software?

It replaces the paper diary and WhatsApp threads with one app that holds your availability, lesson bookings, student records and payments. Passr does all of that and lets your pupils book themselves into the slots you allow.

How much does Passr cost?

£20 per month or £200 per year, after a 14-day free trial. There is no setup fee, and student accounts are always free.

Can pupils pay for lessons online?

Yes. Connect your Stripe account and pupils can pay by card when they book, or you can keep taking cash and mark it in the diary. Payouts go straight to your bank.

Do my pupils need to download an app?

No. They open your booking link or enter your instructor code in any phone browser. You can also add Passr to your home screen so it behaves like an app.

Will it stop double bookings?

Yes. Passr only offers slots that fit your working hours, lesson lengths and travel time, and it removes them the moment a lesson is booked.
